Are they waterproof and water-resistant?

The Oxford fabric upper is water-resistant (repels rain, snow, and shallow puddles), but is not designed for full submersion or prolonged use in deep water. For normal walks, including snow and rain, it offers effective protection.

How do I know what size to choose for my dog?

Measure the width of your dog's front paw (just above the paw pad) and refer to our sizing guide included in the product description. If your dog is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for greater comfort. If you have any doubts, write to us with your dog's weight and breed, and we will help you choose.

Can I wash them if they get muddy?

Yes. We recommend cleaning them by hand with water and mild soap, and letting them air dry, away from direct heat sources (radiators, hair dryers) that could damage the material or the glue in the soles. We do not recommend washing machine or dryer.

Do the boots let the paw breathe?

Oxford fabric allows for some breathability, so there is no risk of overheating during normal walking use. Even so, we do not recommend wearing them for many hours straight without a break, especially on very hot days: like any footwear, it is preferable to put them on for your walk and take them off when you get home.

Are your boots going to fall off?

No. Pawtekt does not work like regular boots held on only by Velcro at the ankle. The dual-anchoring system connects the boot to the harness that goes around your dog's body using an elastic strap, distributing the support to two points instead of one. This keeps the boot in place even when running, jumping, or making sharp turns.
